We are remote, but easily accessible. There is a paved road and an optional gravel road in. Both are easily navigable. You’ll want to fuel up and grab groceries before you “leave civilization”. We are located in a dry part of the western edge of the Palouse region of SE Washington. The nearest neighbor is 5 miles and we are surrounded by CRP (native grass that is former farmland) that is much like wilderness without trees. We have dry camping spots with water and lodging. You can hear coyotes in the distance and see the Milky Way at night! Horses, dogs and kids are welcome but we ask that you keep your dogs on a leash if they chase livestock. Hiking to the top of our highest hill will glean you a spectacular view of the Blue Mountains in the east/southeast and Badger Mountain to the west. On clear evenings at sunset you may see Mt Rainier and Mt Adams on the horizon. We provide a small farm store with eggs, fresh raw milk, beef (ground, roasts or steaks), honey and some incidentals. We offer a farm experience or just a tour, classes to learn how to make butter or cheese and a hay ride seasonally. We raise Pyre-doodles (Pyrenees Poodle) puppies, offer farm tours and experiences, have a raw milk dairy and raise some beef cows. We have chickens, cats and horses also. Our ranch is a private “oasis” at the edge of the dryer part of the Palouse. The Snake River is 14 miles north. Palouse Falls is 22 miles north. The towns of Starbuck, Prescott and Walla Walla are 20, 24 and 35 miles, respectively. We can take cash, card or Venmo for incidentals, classes or experiences. For those parents wanting their kids to detox from electronics, we can unplug the wifi. There is no cell service on the ranch, phones must be used through enabling WiFi.
