We own 2 acres of partially secluded property on Bayou Manchac. Our place is a genuine Cajun retreat inside and out. We cater to self contained rigs only. We do provide electricity, sewage, WiFi and water but we have no separate bathrooms or bathhouse facilities. The site is facing the Bayou; great for relaxing, bird and turtle watching, kayaking, etc. Great place for adult only relaxation or for families. The site is within a densely populated neighborhood. The neighborhood provides a place for bike riding and walking. It’s the best of both worlds with lots of Grassy areas including a fire pit for s’mores, archery, etc. but with local amenities nearby including Walmart. We’re close to Baton Rouge and LSU. We’re about 55 miles away from the New Orleans-metro area. You are in close proximity to your Authentic Cajun Host’s home so you get the full Cajun experience. We are lifelong locals with lots of knowledge of the area. We can interact with you as much or as little as you’d like. We love to cook and often share Cajun meals with our guests!
