This is a prehistoric property where people lived in the village here as far back as the Early Woodland period (1,000 B.C. up through the Fort Ancient period up to 1300 A.D.) Guests will be able to walk over the village and burial ground area but not park in this area. Parking RVs will be a short walk away. We have plans to build a museum (Kragon Learning Center) to display several hundred artifacts that were excavated here and have a small deli to serve lunches. Construction on this facility will begin in mid 2025. In addition to the prehistoric village area we have the former land where the Olean Chemical and Union Charcoal and Chemical Company who manufactured alcohol and charcoal, etc and shipped those out by rail.. We will provide photos of that operation when coming on this site. This is also a working farm also where we have a goat operation and grow hay and pastures. This is a very large 750-acre property and farm so guest will have lots of opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature on this very unique property.
