Get your kicks on Route 8 in Ludlow, KY, a quaint and quirky river town minutes from Cincinnati. Visitors must have self-contained RVs with their own electricity, water, and waste tanks. Our large parking lot is next to the Norfolk Southern train and part of a historic rehabilitation nicknamed Big Blue. The vibrant blue building was built over a 100 years ago, has a backyard being developed with a scenic view of Cincy, and is the future brewhouse of the BIRCUS Brewing Co.−the only circus brewery in the country! BIRCUS−where the surreal world of circus meets the simple love of beer−has specialty wood-fired pizzas and 12 craft beers on tap at the Ludlow Theatre, located .8 miles from Big Blue at 322 Elm Street. The Ludlow Theatre hosts concerts, Flow Jam Tuesdays, Trivia Night Wednesdays, a Flea and Craft Fair the first Sunday of the month, and a family-friendly Circus Matinee every Saturday at 2 pm. Check out other events on the BIRCUS website or call 859-740-3118. From 1895-1918, the Ludlow Lagoon was one of the largest amusement parks in the U.S. and welcomed guests from around the world. Today our town still features unique entertainment as well as parks, bike trails, boutiques, bookstores, markets, taverns and bars. BIRCUS and Big Blue want to welcome you to stay and explore the area before moving on to your next adventure.
