High in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania sits a small town called Berlin. Still famous for “Sniders Potato chips made in Berlin”. Most of the people here were born here. To visit the forests you must be invited. The people know every inch of these lands and they will know if you step foot anywhere without an invitation. There is an abundance of wildlife. This is the place to go when you need to unwind or when you want to introduce your children nature. This is also farm country. Ever see acres and acres of corn grow? Or herds of cows and sheep. And my favorite horses. Private tours are available on a side by side of the woodlands or local Amish farms. We can give a gentle tour with little bumps or take you into the high country where the trails are not so smooth but the views are worth it. We also have a hidden pond for fishing but don’t tell anyone. It’s a secret. For the very well behaved we have several horses available for brushing and maybe a ride in the round pen. To get to our piece of heaven you must cross a small one lane bridge, go through the gate and then up a long winding dirt road. Anything longer than a 32” trailer can be a challenge to get across the bridge. We can park you anywhere on the property or if you want we can plug you in at the old home place. It’s up to you. Unless you schedule a tour you probably won’t see us but we will get you situated. There is a large fire pit with tons of free wood to use at your leisure.
