Experience farm life and enjoy the comforts of your RV. Easy in/out parking on a gravel drive. Heritage Farm is a working alpaca farm with over 50 alpacas you can watch and interact with. Make friends with our black Labrador, Juno. Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several barn cats and our horse, Stormy. If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm. Activities for kids include helping with farm chores, wading in the creek, swinging on the large platform swing. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens!

Site Rules

  • Respect all things and people
  • No unruly or illegal behavior
  • No parties or events
  • Leave site in the same or better condition than when you arrived
  • No fireworks allowed on the premises
  • Speed limit is 10 mph within the property
  • Honor quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am
  • -Approach alpacas slowly and calmly. -Talk in a calm soothing voice. -Keep your hand FLAT when touching an alpaca and pat with the back of your hand. Grabbing them or their fiber makes them think you are a predator. -Touch the alpaca on the top of its back, shoulders, and side of its neck. -Ask the handler what the alpaca prefers — just like people they have personalities with their individual likes and dislikes!
  • Heritage Farm is a working farm and being such has associated risks. Children should always be supervised. Do not open any gates that are closed or close any gates that are open.
  • -Don’t touch or feed alpacas without asking first. -Don’t touch an alpacas head, hindquarters, tail, or toes. -Don’t grab or hug an alpaca. Grabbing frightens alpacas. -Don’t stand behind an alpaca. Like other livestock, alpacas may reflexively kick if you touch their hindquarters or startle them.
  • No firearms allowed on the premises
